The article (though very old) is about a Christian BSA Scout Troop. It's about living to a higher standard that the rest of the world calls us to. I'm sure that some people have no clue what I'm talking about. This is not to say anything bad about them.

In my first year of college as a chem major I had to take Quantitative Analysis. Something about one of the equations I had to solve absolutely defeated me. But I wanted to be a chemist and that equation seperated me from my goal. After I had solved about a million of them, brute force every time, I discovered how it worked. It was finally my time. If you keep coming back to this article and reading it again, I think you might reach that time Libby. Then it will make sense to you.

Hi Neal, I often live in a silence -- like now! I've come to realize that the beginning of my own physical problems is my moment in silence and darkness. Where is God? Can God reach me. while I stand naked in my spiritual closet and address the plastic ceiling?

Only thing I know to do is to keep shouting out to God. He's already seeking me in my hiding place, in my snarl!

Love you, as I always have!

There was a moment of depression. Silence was a statement (or reply) to that.

I think you should write it- it's in you, and God has stirred it. Your last couple of posts really spoke to me about what God is trying to do in your heart. Deep is calling to deep, and he is opening something in you. What you really are is down there somewhere, and God is not going to rest until he has it out of you.

Love you now, love you always,
A

Here in South Africa Scouting is interdenominational and no one has to demonstrate their allegiance to any particular religion.

In my view each person has three categories of belief.
1. Personal individual beliefs in God, angels, heaven, devils, baptism, or whatever.
2. Social belief - how one interacts socially with others of the same or different religious beliefs or culture.
3. One's life script - How you live your life. How you treat others. How you react to those with a different view of life then yourself.

It seems you have come to a realization in your life that means much to you. Let others, also, in their time attain their own realizations.
